Happenings...
New Year...
We went off to see the amazing fireworks over at the Esplanade. It should be an exciting perhaps even romantic feeling seeing those colorful fireworks and hearing those melodic tunes but I just felt tired. So was my sis-in-law.
It was crowded...truly crowded with party-goers...youngsters jamming away with local bands.I felt a bit old.All I wanted to do was grab my pillow and sleep snugly at my own bed.
But I wanted some "adventure"....to end my splendid 2005...my days as a SAHM.
As the fireworks goes off....all that was left in my mind was...what will 2006 be for me?Yasmin,by the way,was too frightened by the loud fireworks. She closed her eyes and refused to see them.Hahaha....what a wasted idea....we wanted to be there to let her see them.Oh well.....
After the "adventure",we went off to Macdonalds(where Yasmin slept throughout)to ease off the traffic first.
Hari Raya Haji....
I was a little bit excited for the day.Perhaps,it's because it's my off day.I was tired and a little good cheer would do me good.So it was off to Opah's and nenek's house for the day.
I do know that my mum miss us more since my erratic shift work.Distance really makes the heart fonder. So the day was good to actually get everyone together again.
My usual days....
I'm still terribly tired.Am seriously wondering what can I do to perk up those energy levels. My leave is only due in September.Yikes!Me and hubby have decided to go for a holiday then.Hope that nothing happens then.So now....I'm awaiting for my "crying-day-out" day that so coincides with my confirmation day.Double cheers!5 day week ....here we come.More time for my dear Yasmin.
And Yasmin turning 2 soon! She grows up so fast. All I keep hearing now is her own rendition of Twinkle twinkle little star/Are you sleeping/Pop Ye-ye...Having to put her clothes on has been a trying task too.She wants to do everything by her self.Independent gal!
